have to agree with everyone about the seniors playing junior. its not fair on the juniors who are training and who are being left on the bench when it comes to matchs. the seniors wouldnt like if the juniors were talkin there places ot there matches

have to agree with a message from laz m, how would the juniors be expected to play well if the seniors are coming and winning it for them, taking positions and hurling twice on a sunday, some lads need the hurling alot more, plus whos going to be depended on when it does come to championship, do the juniors mean that little that some of the seniors have to play twice in the one day?????????????????

Long time reader, first time poster. This is my two pence on the matter: 1. League Games - I don't understand why we are playing seniors on the junior A team in the league? Great we might win the league but at the end of the day, what will the team do when it comes to championship? Some of the junior A's should be getting a run on the senior team in the league (which some are), and the same if possible for the junior B's, they should be getting a run on the junior A team in the league, but htis should not be the other way around. 2. Junior B - Compared to last year the number of junior B's training seems to have fallen dramitically, now I know that they train on their own but the numbers they get for that is something like between 10 and 12, not even good enough for backs and forwards. They should either train with everyone else (seniors and junior A's) in the early stage of the year or go on their own altogether. 3. Paenls - There also seems to be confusion over panels for the junior A's and junior B's, who's playing for who. A panel should be drawn each year for each grade and should be revised each week/month depending on performances. This I believe would be good for competition with players fighting for grades and their places! Aside, both teams at the weekend looked pretty fit and sharp (well the did seniors anyway), so fair play to the training so far.

Junior B: i believe that this year with practise matches that while its good having some of the junior A's on the side for them to benefit with extra matches, on the other its a bad thing for those who will be junior B coming championship time as being promoted to the bench certainly does not help gain any experience on the field...it happened last year and it was a huge set back........ this needs to be addressed .

Hello, I am manager of an Under 12 Hurling team with Roscommon Gaels, based in Roscommon Town. We are looking to organise challenge matches or blitzs with teams for the next few months. We have a very good team and a very large panel of 40 players and it is difficult to get good quality games for them. If you could send me the contact details for the Under 12 hurling manager in your club I would really appreciate it. neil_mc_dermott@yahoo.co.uk Regards
